M.I.T. BRAIN TRUST

Working with a student group at the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology called The MIT BrainTrust, The Healing Exchange BRAIN TRUST plays an important role in helping to link present and future researchers and scientists with the People they aim to serve.
The MIT BRAIN TRUST works closely with The Healing Exchange BRAIN TRUST to provide students and other members of the MIT community interested in such
topics as cognitive science, medicine, assistive technology, cognitive or neurological
prosthetics, or Internet sociology the real world opportunities to apply their knowledge and
learn more. Members' efforts directly help People living with neurological abnormalities
from aneurysm to pleomorphic pseudoxanthroastrocytoma. Participants can expand their understanding of such
disorders and new technologies being developed to help People who suffer from them.
MIT students organize local community parties and panel presentations, do awareness-raising activities, and have attended brain tumor conferences across the country with us.
The Healing Exchange BRAIN TRUST is having an important impact on young People who are aspiring physicians and researchers. The club alumni now include two students in MD-PhD programs at Washington Univesity, plus students at Harvard Medical School, NYU Medical School, and others.
